Do you have a spam issue on this site; I also am a blogger, and I was curious about your situation;

The first superhero we - third part | All about superheroes
Mandrake saw the light for the first time in 1934 in the form of a series of drawings published by King Features Syndicate of the later so famous draw Lee Falk. Lee Falk accounted however already Mandrake way back in 1924 but was then only 10 years later they were printed. Lee Falk is also known for having drawn Phantom of the 1936th
The Phantom was the first brand that appeared in a real costume - but he was not a superhero we in my definition, since he does not have superhuman powers. And yet - he is in the same category as Batman and The Punisher which I of course have chosen to be in the category we Superheroes. So the Phantom can get a room here on the blog - but everything else just as he is NOT the first superhero. Phantom would also get space here on the blog later.
Mandrake appeared we as first mentioned back in 1934. Mandrake was a magician we whose skills primarily consisted of hypnosis. Uncommon hypnosis where you believe you are a chicken, but hypnosis in the highest degree, where Mandrake could draw his opponents into a completely different world. Mandrake taught his forces to know during a longer stay in Tibet while he was very young.
Mandrake is probably built on a real magician named Leon Mandrake, who began his career already back in 1922. The later accounts of Mandrake Phil Davis met as also the correct Leon Mandrake and became good friends we with him.
... More than a comic Mandrake outplayed his first years as a comic, but in 1940-42, we one could follow the magician on the radio and in 1939 got Mandrake its debut on the screen. Columbia Pictures made 12 episodes titled "Mandrake the Magician" where Warren Hull played Mandrake and Al Kikume acted as Lothar.
In 1954, NBC did a pilot episode we for a TV series titled "Mandrake the Magician", but it was only for one episode. Here Coe Norton played the role of Madrake and Woody Strode was Lothar.
During the time since the first Mandrake movie been a number of near-cinema, but none have yet been made. Both Federico Fellini and Michael Almereyda has shown interest, but it was dropped again.
Today owned the film rights of Baldwin Entertainment Group and Hyde Park Entertainment, but there are no current plans for a movie. we The two companies own in brackets noticed also the rights to Phantom.
As a curiosity can be mentioned that actually made a musical titled "Mandrake the Magician and the Enchantress" we in the 70s. It was put up by Lenox Arts Festival in Massachusetts with music by George Quincy.
Animated series Mandrake has of course also been released as an animated TV cartoon. In the 1980s was Mandrake part of the team of "Defenders of the Earth" together with the Phantom, Flash Gordon (Flash Gordon) mm
